Chocolate cake and Thomas

I made this moist chocolate cake last week. It was yummy and delish. However i still need more practise drawing Thomas. It looks a little lopsided. I recommend not to use buttercream to color Thomas. I used buttercream and it looked awfully ugly and messy. Using gel will give a much better Thomas for sure.

Decor time part 2

Fondant 2D animal image. A teddy bear, bunny rabbit, gold fish and a lion (which looked more like a sun with ears than a lion).

Last week i went for another class and i can't believe that i actually drew up those cartoon images. I surprised myself. All this time i thought i could only draw circle and square shapes but today i proof that i can, if i set my mind to it and focus hard. Now i'm practising drawing spongebob, ben10, thomas and friends and pocoyo.

These are some fondant decorations that i did after the first class. I was so excited and could not wait to try out fondant decoration and i've been running around buying the ingredients for fondant and cut out shapes to experiment on some ideas that has been flying around my mind.

Cake decor class 1

I've been very busy for the past 2 weeks... going to the cake decor class. These are some of the cake decoration that was taught by Chef Asma on the 17th of May. I'm beginning to like this fondant decoration thingy.

Checking out babes

We're having dinner at Santai Tanjung Lumpur, Kuantan and the food is quite good. But there's just too many people and getting the waiters to notice you requires a lot of patience. Here's pictures of Nabil checking out the girls sitting behind us. Smiling and giggling at the girls and as usual they responded well to his gestures. He loves the attention.

Holiday...Hyatt, Kuantan

Last week on Friday we headed towards Kuantan for a family day weekend organised by daddy's office mate. Mummy and daddy had fun with the games activities and the boys really enjoyed playing with the sand. But the travelling back and forth were not fun and joy at all....we well bibik and mummy especially really had to squeeze ourselves in the back seat together with Nabil on the lap. oohhh sigh when is our new car coming in Malaysia. Mummy can't bare another long journey holiday with the boys getting big each day and they can't seem to stay put especially Arshad. As for the rest baby Arshad and Nazriel they got their car seat so they're comfy throughout the journey. On the way back Nabil was showing some sickness signs, he didn't do much talking just slept all the way home. At home he complained of stomach ache, headache and was vomiting whenever food came in and the next day came the diarrhoea. Since Wednesday i've been getting the same symptoms just like Nabil ..... i've been puking all day long yesterday ....completely no energy to do anything.... but no diarrhoea at the moment.
